Rev.
Annika Sangster, graduate of the Centre for Christian
Studies, grew up in Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. She
left her beloved home for further education at Mount Allison
University and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in 2002. By
the end of 2003, she completed the Leadership Development
Module at CCS and knew that diaconal ministry was her calling.
She met her partner, Bobby Pace, in 2004 and they married in
2007. Annika has taken the term, "lifelong learning" to heart
and spent the majority of her life in school. While at CCS,
she discovered that she is a passionate feminist and an
advocate for people with learning disabilities through her own
journey of self-discovery. Annika continues to see God in the
love and care people show each other and is looking forward to
exploring transformational ministry. Throughout her ten years
in undergraduate and post graduate studies, Annika has worked
in a variety of fast food and retail outlets, as well as a
number of summer camps and churches. Annika is a country girl
at heart who enjoys spending time cycling, geocaching,
knitting and cooking.
